ABC news has published some pictures of the horrible 9/11 attacks taken from the helicopters of the New York police. The television network has gotten access to the pictures after filling a Freedom of Information act request in 2009 with the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Looking at these images is never easy, no matter how much time has passed.

ABC news ha publicato alcune foto mai viste prima degli orribili attacchi alle Torri Gemelle dell’ 11 Settembre 2001, rilasciate dalla polizia di New York. La rete americana ha avuto accesso alle foto dopo aver fatto una richiesta ufficiale nel 2009 al National Institute of Standards and Technology, in base al cosiddetto Freedom of Information Act. Le foto sono state scattate dagli elicotteri del NYPD. Anche se sono trascorsi nove anni dall’accaduto, rivedere queste immagini non è mai facile.
